Dickson Woo was appointed as Country General Manager and Technology Leader for IBM Malaysia in April 2024, holding the responsibility for all strategic and operational decisions related to IBM's sales, services, and operations in Malaysia. Key to his mission is helping clients leverage hybrid cloud and AI technologies to help them further accelerate their digital transformation journey.

A seasoned technology veteran, with over three decades of regional and global experience, supports his strong understanding of the business challenges the clients face and shapes his commitment to enable them to innovate and succeed in this competitive landscape.

No stranger to IBM, his stint with leadership roles in the IT industry began as the Country Manager of System Technology Group, IBM Malaysia in 1996. Since then Dickson has held multiple management roles across Oracle, EMC, Microsoft, NTT, and Fortinet.

Throughout his career, Dickson has been consistently recognized as a key leader in the IT industry. In 2022, Dickson was recognised as World Digital Economy Distinguished Country Manager Lifetime Achievement Award by KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific. Most recently, in 2023, he was recognised with the World Digital Icon Leadership Award by KSI Strategic. Institute for Asia Pacific.

A recognised voice at industry events for topics such as cybersecurity and other Information Technology related topics, Dickson is also quoted frequently across both local and international media.
