Shahrizan Aini Shamsul Khalil was appointed Chief Human Resources Officer of SD Guthrie Berhad in August 2024, having assumed the role of Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer earlier that year. She began her career with Maybank in 1995 before joining the Sime Darby Group in 1996 and later joined SD Guthrie in 2004.

In 2007, she assumed a senior management role as Vice President, Market Research and Analysis within the Group’s commodities trading arm. In 2018, she was appointed Head of Corporate Services at SD Guthrie International, overseeing Strategy & Price Risk Management, Options Trading & Market Intelligence, Downstream Value Management (Strategy, Planning and Performance Management), Corporate Branding and Talent Management.

In 2023, she became Head of Human Resources and Corporate Services at SD Guthrie International, expanding her remit to include Talent Acquisition and Human Capital Management. During her early tenure in the Strategy and Business Development Unit, she developed a strong grounding in research, analytics and strategic planning that continues to underpin her leadership career for more than 30 years.

Shahrizan holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from London South Bank University, UK and is ACCA-qualified, having completed her professional qualification at Emile Woolf School of Accountancy in London.
