Dr. Kasuma Satria is an accomplished business leader with over 20 years+ of experience driving organizational growth, developing human capital, and strengthening operational excellence across Europe and the Asia Pacific.

Serving as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Proton Holdings Berhad, leading the overall HR, Administration, and Security functions for more than 8,000 employees across Proton Shah Alam, Proton Tanjung Malim, and the Proton R&D Centre in Malaysia and China. He oversees people strategy, organization development, industrial relations, and talent management to support Proton’s transformation and innovation agenda.

Previously, he was the Chief Human Resources Officer at AEON Group Malaysia, overseeing key corporate functions including Human Resources, Governance & Integrity, Sustainability, Procurement (Non-Trade), Corporate Services, Corporate Communications, and Project Management.

A recognized industry expert, he is affiliated with HRD Corp and serves as a Board Member of the Government-Industry TVET Coordination Body (GITC), contributing to Malaysia’s national workforce development strategies.

His leadership career spans multiple sectors, including energy, retail, automotive, education transformation, and capability building. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles such as Vice President, East Malaysia & Brunei (Country Manager) and Director & Vice President, Business Development (Onshore & Offshore) for a global energy corporation, where he also spent two years in Europe managing cross-border teams on strategic international projects. He also served as General Manager of Operations for a consultancy firm focused on education transformation, change management, and project execution.
