Nimmi serves as the Chief Corporate Affairs at Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), overseeing the organisation’s strategic communications, marketing, sustainability and social investment initiatives, as well as stakeholder relations. She is responsible in driving brand transformation, reinforcing the position of PNB and ASNB as premier investment institutions. Her responsibilities also extend to leading ESG Enterprise, where she promotes the organisation’s ESG practices, striving towards a Net Zero Future. Additionally, she oversees PNB Research Institute (PNBRI), the organisation’s research arm, which undertakes studies on key socio-economic issues. Prior to joining PNB, Nimmi garnered over two decades of experience in the financial, banking, and energy sectors with Shell Malaysia, Standard Chartered Bank, Bursa Malaysia, and RHB Management, including international exposure outside Malaysia.
