DR. NORHAYATI MOHD YUSOFF
Country Director of Human Resources, Bosch Malaysia
Dr. Norhayati Mohd Yusoff holds responsibility for Bosch Malaysia as the Country Director of Human Resources.Â
Born in Petaling Jaya in 1971, Dr. Norhayati holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Finance and Accounting and later completed her MBA and Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology in 2010. Her professional career, spanning over 24 years, began in the public accounting sector before moving into project management, leadership and strategic roles in the field of human capital development, talent management, and the full spectrum of human resources functions in various multinational corporations in Penang, Kuala Lumpur, and Bangkok.
During her doctoral program, she was involved in people analytics and research on understanding organizational identification and its relationship with turnover decisions among employees. With her extensive professional knowledge and experience in talent management, human resource governance, and sustainability in the manufacturing, R&D, corporate and global services sector, coupled with her people analytics background, Dr. Norhayati has played a vital role in partnering with Bosch business divisions to bring transformation to Bosch Malaysia’s HR practices, policies, and technological infrastructure.Â
Dr. Norhayati leads the HR governance functions for seven Bosch entities across Malaysia with a workforce comprising of over 4,200 associates. Among the entities are four manufacturing sites, as well as R&D capacity in Penang. Her exposure in designing value-added HR Interventions for various Bosch business divisions coupled with her robust involvements in people, workplace and culture transformation has brought enhancement of value and competitiveness to Bosch Malaysia both in operational excellence and overall human capital strategies.
