SHAHRIZAN AINI SHAMSUL KHALIL

Shahrizan Aini is the Acting Chief Human Resources Officer at SD Guthrie. She began her extensive career path with Maybank in 1995 before joining Sime Darby Group in 1996. 

She discovered her passion for research, analytics, and strategies early in her professional career while attached to the Strategy and Business Development Unit. Throughout her ascent up the corporate ladder, she has served in various capacities focusing on these core functions.

Joining SD Guthrie in 2004, she assumed a senior management role as Vice President of Market Research and Analysis within the commodities trading arm by 2007. In 2018, she expanded her portfolio upon her appointment as Head of Corporate Services at SD Guthrie International, overseeing Strategy & Price Risk Management, Options Trading & Market Intelligence, Downstream Value Management (Strategy, Planning, and Performance Management), Corporate Branding, and Talent Management.

In 2023, she was appointed Head of Human Resources and Corporate Services at SD Guthrie International, where she extended her expertise to Talent Acquisition and Human Capital Management. Subsequently, in 2024, she assumed the position of Acting Chief Human Resources Officer at SD Guthrie.

Her education background constitutes a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from the London South Bank University and an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) from Emile Woolf School of Accountancy, London, United Kingdom.
